Miss October in Orlinda Beauty Pageant
The pageant was started to raise money for the parks board for playground equipment. The pageant has continued and this years sponsor for 2024 is Mrs. Demetria White. Anyone between the ages 2-18 are eligible to participate. Once you fill out the application a link will be sent to you to pay online (fees apply). You can also pay in person via cash, check or credit card (fees apply).
Car Show
The car show is free to enter. Any type of vehicle may enter the show. We do ask that you complete an entry form to let us know that you are attending.

If you choose to pay at in person or mail methods of payments accepted are cash (exact amount), check (made payable to City of Orlinda), money order, or credit card (fees apply.)
