Subdivision of Property Information
Subdividing property is a process that will take time. Please complete the following steps.
1. Complete the application online with the correct information.
2. Pay the fee before the application can be processed.
This information will have to be advertised. The Planning& Zoning Advisory will meet to start the evaluation process. They will then make their recommendations to City Council. City Council will make the final decision.
Rezoning Property Information
- Complete the application via electronic submission or printing a copy and filling in with the correct information.
- Provide copy of deed to prove ownership.
- Provide aerial photograph of the property from TN Property Viewer
- Provide Legal description AND Survey of the areas to be rezoned including map and parcel number
- Provide water letter from utility company stating location and size of current water line, adequate pressure for domestic use and if/where fire hydrants are required.
- Pay the review fee of $500.00.
- Email supporting materials to [email protected] if the application is submitted electronic no need to email the application again. If the application is not submitted electronically a copy will need to be emailed or brough into city hall.
- Attend the Planning Advisory Board meeting. Be ready to present and answer questions. Failure to appear at the Planning Advisory Board meeting may result in the denial of the application. They will then make their recommendations to City Council and the decision will be given by them.
Pool Permit Information
Pool or any part thereof, cannot protrude into the front yard. An inground pool and an above ground (if the wall of the pool is less than 36″) must have a wall or fence around it no less than 3ft in height and must be kept in good condition and have a gate that locks.
